SIZZLIN' SUMMER NIGHTS RETURNS!
Back by popular demand, St. John's will have three "Sizzlin' Summer Nights with dinner and a program at each.
- June 18: Night At The Movies featuring "Amazing Grace" for adults and a kid-friendly film for children.
- July 9: Music & Mission Trip Recap featuring testimonies and stories from the youth about their experience in San Antonio, Texas.
- August 13: UNM Wesley House Fundraiser Dinner with Silent Auction.

S.M.A.R.T. Camp: July 21-25, 2008
It’s time to register for SMART Camp, (Summer Music, Art, Rhythm and Theater) Camp! SMART Camp is for rising first through sixth graders and is open to the community. (Children must be 6 years old prior to Sept. 1, 2008) The camp will be held July 21 – 25, 2008 from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Each day campers will sing, move, act, work on crafts and learn about different musical instruments. Small classes guarantee individual attention to each child. Enrollment is limited!
This summer, the children will learn about their dreams and how their dreams can serve God through the musical, Tale of the Three Trees. The musical retells a folktale about three trees with big dreams. Each, in their own way, serves God by fulfilling their dreams. They will present the musical at the end of camp on Friday. There will be several speaking parts and small group opportunities.
Registration for Children’s Music Camp 2008 will continue until July11, 2008, however fees increase after June 15th. The Early Bird registration fee is $100 per child or $200 per family. After June 15th, the registration fee will increase to $125 per child or $250 per family. (Scholarships are available.) This fee includes a lot of fun, professional instruction, supplies, lunch, snacks, and a cool t-shirt. Registration forms are available at the church or on the church website. Youth M&M Trip Recap

These informal evening concerts feature some of Albuquerque's best known musicians, all of whom are donating their performances to benefit a local homeless services organization. All concerts take place in the choir rehearsal room at St. John's. Tickets are $15 ($5 for students) and all proceeds will benefit Albuquerque Healthcare for the Homeless. Performers on July 10 will include Carla Beauchamp, Lee Domann, Fred Sturm, and Matthew Greer.

On the second Friday of every month from 5:30 PM – 8:30 PM, parents have the opportunity to go out while their kids come to St. John’s to play games, eat pizza, and enjoy playing with other children. Parents Night Out is supervised by our highly qualified and trained nursery staff and costs only $5 per child. You may sign up for PNO by noon on the Wednesday before the next scheduled event. Wesley House Fundraiser
Back by popular demand, St. John's will have three Sizzlin' Summer Nights with dinner and a program at each. This final installment of the series will be August, 13. It will be a fundraiser for the Wesley House on the UNM campus, with other Methodist churches joining us for dinner and a program.
